    Default Custom mod pack **server updated 2016/09/04 v9.1.3**

    Another 1.7.10 shard is born...

    OK so this one is all Perv's baby. Lots of new tech stuff like Compact Machines, Deep Resonance, Engineer's Toolbox, Matter Overdrive, etc and $#@!ing dinosaurs. And why have one dinosaur mod when you can have two that do nearly the exact same thing? Will be interesting to see what comes of that. Also, new dungeon/exploration gen stuff like Runic Dungeons, Doomlike Dungeons and, um, other stuff, lol. I went through and updated everything to the latest while I was at it so AE2 is now rv3 (lots of QoL improvements) and, from what I read, a lot of the others saw some pretty big update

    If you cannot get in delete your okshard-v# (where # is the version) instance folder first then try again. If you are still getting errors about mods delete the instance folder and the cache folder (one folder below where the instances are kept) and try again.



    *** Railcraft compliance note ***

    Railcraft requires some specific links to be provided and since there is no easy way to provide them within MCUpdater (it links directly to the Railcraft blog though) I am doing it here...

    It also requires that all modpack licensing be listed and while I am not going to make a page specifically for listing all licensing I do review every mod for licensing and usage compliance. After all I am a developer myself and so it is one of my pet peaves. That said the spreadsheet has a license column where I list the licensing or requirements stated by the developers. The vast majority of them are open use, MIT, some flavor of the GPL or the like and since I provide attribution both on the spreadsheet and in the launcher itself and only use the pack in its original form on a public, not for profit, server I am covered.

    Oh and Cubbs we found an underwater lab of some sort (Matter Overdrive is based on Star Trek so it is very scifi) and after clearing out the androids and other nasties guarding it Claus and I moved in. I pumped the water out of the basement and am putting down dirt so it is all yours whenever you get in.

    OK in my haste I didn't doa full test of ore gen to get numbers and types of ore. It is all wonky. I am doing a scrape now and will compile the numbers but it will need a world restart. We could try retrogen but that usually doesn't work well in my experience.

    Just did a scrape in admin and am totalling the numbers. Lots of stuff from new mods which kind of hid the problem but it certainly needs cleaning up. Give me an hour or so.

    "Our preliminary reports suggest, small veins of Tritanium Ore, beneath Y level 64. My team ensures me, finding them won’t be our biggest problem. The real problem is finding that pesky Dilithium Ore. All our findings suggest, concentrations occur below Y level 32. Some serious mining may be required, before finding those stuff. A Fortune Pick is a must on this mission. Bad thing, we can’t replicate those stuff, or I’ll literally be swimming in it!"

    So it looks like these 'rare' ores are the basis to MatterOverdrive & can't be replicated so they will be in great demand.
    Looks like it takes 10 scans to add an item to the database, and the scan destroys the item each time.
    Can try to replicate it with less than 10, but always a chance of failure...
    Its like ME without all the hassle I think...
    Oh and you can be turned into an android & them upgrade yourself...

    Yeah it does look interesting. As for the scanning thing it is more like that equal exchange one but seems more balanced. Won't know until we use it though. So much new there is no chance we'll actually be balanced on the first go. Not that that is too big a deal with us.

    So I did all but a couple of the smaller ones like uranium/yellowrite and magnesium. Didn't want to risk breaking something with the uranium since we have two nuke mods now and magnesium is trivial so wasn't going to sweat it. I need to set the new hashes and get all the configs up then I will restart the server. I am guessing this will do it so not going to do a long wait testing it. I will test it while it is live. Give me 30-45 and it should be up.

    Update is up and server is running a new map. I am in SP doing a quick quarry to verify the changes but you should be OK to get in and start exploring.

    Did a 4 chunk clear and checked. Looks pretty good. I missed disabling lead in Engineer's Toolbox so we have two types showing up but that is no biggie. Some silver from Immersive Engineering is seeping through too but it is so small I am thinking it is from something like Artifice. We started with 9 coppers, 6 tins, 4 silvers, 3 leads, 4 aluminums, 4 sapphires and 2-3 of a lot of the other stuff though so it is a nice reduction. There are a couple I am worried we may be light on but we'll see. Not like we don't usually have quarries up inside of a day anyway.

    I have deleted the instance folder and the Cache folder a couple times and still getting this.

    Bah humbug...

    I was toying with Matter Overdrive in SP and a majority of the food items don't have a matter value, which means they can't be replicated.... which seems silly because replicators make food...

    Navigate all the adfly junk and download them manually then put them in your mods folder. I suggest renaming them though so you don't get a conflict if it does eventually start working or if I change something.

    Sorry Steel I passed out.
    After I saw that applesauce was over 200 matter to make and my mind broke...
    I turned on the debug option and was looking at the log and it was having issues "creating" the items so it set them as matter 0, and some of the items seem to have the cost of the tools that makes them added if its done in the crafting grid.
    I'm going to try and dump out Harvestcraft and build up the matter settings and keeping it sane, which means I'll add some matter cost for having to use a tool in the crafting but not the full cost of creating a new one each time.

    Power Armor Tinker Table recipe didn't load for some reason. It detected that we had Ender IO and loaded the recipes for the actual armor bits but not the tinker's table. For now if you give an admin the ingredients they can swap you a table for them.

    You need...
    1 emerald
    2 electrical steel
    1 basic capacitor
    1 machine chassis (ender io)

    I'll look into fixing it later but for now we can just trade one out for anyone that wants one. Current admins are (TTPNobody, Axispipe, SneezySchoo, Steelwind_Oo).

    Anyone else having trouble getting the pack running? We had some weirdness with one of the mods and Cubbs seems to be still having trouble. I reproduced and fixed part of it but can't reproduce the rest so need input. Let me know if we are good or not, thanks.

    I'm running as vanilla as can be for textures & stuff...

    Yeah that Matter Overdrive thing killed me. I would have to test it to figure out what exactly doing it but it locked up my client every time. Nasty.

    I'm not sure if you want to check out the portal, Pervy. It's in the Nether on a boat. Not sure if you saw it. I did carve out some path between our nether portals, it's somewhere between those.
