    heh, so I moved up to the 2nd floor Steel.... and since I am really good at following directions I took 2 rooms

    I added an elevator, and a small room where people can place stuff they acquired but have no use/need/want of that people can pick through.

    I'm pondering how to shuffle the blockhead kitchen around to get it easier to manage.
    Can't face any more seed leveling right now.... brain hurts...

    Just shoot me...
    Was getting warnings from windows about running out of memory?!
    It killed java the second time.
    Then I noticed my AV needed an update...
    and then the AV refused to start on boot correctly...
    and then 47 restarts later, trying a full uninstall...

    Finally got it to install and startup....
    such BS...

    So on a MC related note... does anyone else's client sometimes hang when AE2 is PreInitializing?
    I'm having that happen every other start it feels like...

    There is something squirrely in this pack. Perv and I were talking about it. Sometimes loading hangs or it takes FOREVER to get into the world and sometimes when I shutdown I have to force quit it or the MCUpdater before I can restart.

    Yeah, it seems Blue Power toggle switch doesn't want to play nice, and after almost crashing a second time, I tore it down, and trashed it. Not worth the headache.

    One of the console windows says java is terminated, but if I end the launcher java's sometimes the MC java revives... but I never let it finish.
    I end it and then try again, and it usually loads up without an issue.

    Cubbs looks like you can make bedrockium with 4 triple, 4 quad and a block of diamond so I am adding triple and quad to the network to get enough bedrockium to scan. Or trying to anyway.

    With all the oil I am pumping I REALLY need a couple of those drums.

    EDIT: OK I am an idiot. There was plenty of the bigger stuff to make the ingots I need to scan in. So can we remove patterns once they are learned?

    I think we need to hack the cfg file for Matter Overdrive.
    The basic one can hold 1024, and even with all 4 of the upgrades its only likw 16K so I doubt it will even try to make bedrockium... which is sad...

    Okay I tinkered on SP....
    Math not being my strong point totally maxxed with only matter storage upgrades its 16K
    So basic bear thought is

    # How much matter can the replicator hold
    I:storage.matter=1024

    in the cfg becomes

    # How much matter can the replicator hold
    I:storage.matter=3072

    This would let other upgrades be put in that offer more speed or power holding...
    While the machine can handle being fed power required over time, it has to have all of the matter inside of it to even begin...

    by my calcualtions it should be done sometimes next week....

    I think the bot spam is a server thing. The server thinks all the androids are specials so it reports their deaths like an undying thing or bold etc etc...
    I tried filtering it out in tabbychat up it was still showing up in the main window & I just didn't feel like building a whole new window

    It almost made the solar I was trying to churn out... it failed right at the end...
    and then I had to upgrade the decomposer to deal with that much matter.

    The replicator takes twice as much energy per matter as it took to create the matter plasma.
    so every drop of plasma matter we use has a net power cost of 24000 wow

    Anyone else have AE inscriber plates?
    I duplicated the ones Steel had, but I still need the other 2....

    Also Steel if that isn't enough Sak wood, I don't want to hear about it...

    Bears current puzzle is trying to keep Cooking for Blockheads fridges stocked with a single stack of ingredients.
    I tried Refined Relocation, but it didn't work.
    I tried Extra Utilities retrieval nodes, but it kept pulling more than a stack.

    My current plan is to built a limited ME to handle keeping things stocked & to make secondary cooking items and keep them stocked.
    Cooking for Blockheads in this version can't make inbetween steps on its own. If there are peanuts but no peanut butter made up it can't make sammiches.
    If I make peanut butter it ends up in my inventory so it can use it then, but there is no easy way to drop it back in from the cook stand.

    I am loading up storage drawers with the different base foods, & slowly filling out the inbetween steps. Sorting storage drawers have a block that allow them to connect the whole sorting network to the ME.
    The ME seems like the easiest way to make all of this happen.
    (not like you evil android people need to eat.....)

    You can build a simple ME (no controllers) with just some storage, an interface and the IO stuff. It should handle that fine.

    If you are going to actually process in the ME you will most certainly need a controller. An adhoc network can only support 8 channels.

    Lately its rare if I disconnect by choice....
    Hopefully the restart will make it better...

    Woho for solutions!

    I am heading out for an onsite but it is a quick one so post if things are still wonky. I'll check the server when I get back if it is still acting up. We get this crazy entity tracking error spam that doesn't seem to cause major issues but as much as it spams it has to have some impact. Worse when it is heavier I imagine.

    A killall of 10K wither skellies helped some...
    Someone, maybe rat, was using a buildcraft lava pump that was doing bad things... I think Perv replaced with with the Extra Util one that doesn't leave all sorts of moving lava and load large areas...

    Aww crap. Let me do a restart and if I am still up after I will try and login and see if I can find the problem. There are massive amounts of the entity tracking error spams in the console so I am guessing it is spawing somewhere again.

    My grinder was on and I had the orb out so I logged in to taking massive damage, lol. That alone shouldn't have done it though as it doesn't spawn that much stuff.

    Oddly my killalls are only getting like a dozen now. Not sure how the hell it generated 11k so fast. All that flowy lava blows though for sure.

    Hrm, sitting idle while my alter refills and back up to over 1k withers. Where are they all spawning? It has to be the fortress where the pump is. The pump is keeping 25 chunks loaded around it and that covers a good section of the fortress. Not sure why it would go bat$#@! and keep spawning withers though. I suppose if it comes to it moving the pump away from the fortress is a solution.

    I am logged at the pump and will log back in in a bit to see if they've come back. Besides I want to see what 11k withers looks like if I can actually login with them there.

    Also, am recharging my alter so my grinder is on. Feel free to turn it off if you want though as my reserves are back up. The switch is up the stairs under the gold chest by the blood drums.

    I just logged in trying was going to test something and the npcs on the map were doing a still life impression again...
    melt is the only one on... I need to test something in SP rather than waste mats & time in MP if its not gonna work

    OK will go in and do a killall on the withers again. I guess I should pop the pump and see if that helps.

    EDIT: Hrm, wasn't withers that time. There were only like ten on the map when I did the killall and I wasn't getting any kind of server lag before or after the killall was run. Let me know if it persists for you. I am off to nap though so might have to wait if it gets bad again.

    Yeah, I couldn't quite figure the wither thing out, the area that is loaded, didn't seem enough to cause the massive amounts that we saw. If the situation is still ongoing tomorrow, I'm going to break all the spawners in the loaded radius. I also swapped the pump due to ongoing block issues caused by using other pumps in the nether. We should probably inform everyone that plays on the server to only use the ender-thermic pump in the nether.

    Claus dropped a magnum and it seems to have resolved it for now. I think it was a glitch in the matrix with what chunks were loaded and where the fortress was and somehow tripping out the spawn into thinking it needed more. Whatever it was when I logged in just now there weren't any.
