    Default Custom mod pack **server restarted 2016/11/19 v10.1.1**

    Finally 1.10.2, we're moving up in the world...

    Another one you can blame on Perv. Between 1.10.2, mods having massive overhauls between where we were and where we are now and mods no longer being supported it is like a whole new world. We have Realistic Terrain Generation back along with a slew of others to play with and get familiar with. Lots of cosmetic stuff that I am excited to mess with too. No more Carpenter's Blocks but wow so many other angles and custom shapes and stuff to play with.

    If you cannot get in delete your okshard-v# (where # is the version) instance folder first then try again. If you are still getting errors about mods delete the instance folder and the cache folder (one folder below where the instances are kept) and try again.



    *** Railcraft compliance note ***

    Railcraft requires some specific links to be provided and since there is no easy way to provide them within MCUpdater (it links directly to the Railcraft blog though) I am doing it here...

    It also requires that all modpack licensing be listed and while I am not going to make a page specifically for listing all licensing I do review every mod for licensing and usage compliance. After all I am a developer myself and so it is one of my pet peaves. That said the spreadsheet has a license column where I list the licensing or requirements stated by the developers. The vast majority of them are open use, MIT, some flavor of the GPL or the like and since I provide attribution both on the spreadsheet and in the launcher itself and only use the pack in its original form on a public, not for profit, server I am covered.

    Help! I have fallen and I can't get up. :c. For some reason I am getting this:

    I was wondering if you could help steel :I. I tried downloading a current version of the mod and trying that, but got zero results :c. Also, I did manage to get on once before crashing, im guess due to the failed journey map, but I tried connecting to the server and it gave me a "invalid session (try restarting)" error. :c

    JourneyMap is optional so you should still be able to connect as long as it is the only thing that failed. I guess Curse was $#@!ting the bed earlier or something though in which case we are kind of stuck and just have to keep trying.

    I had something like that with zombies earlier. On a side note... creepers can sprint now. I was watching one do laps around the big open area I just cleared before logging. In an open/flat area they can haul ass. It is frightening.

    So JEI keeps giving me like everything in a mod when I click on an item instead of just that item's recipe. Anyone know what the deal is? There a config or something I need to tweak?

    A word of warning Perv, and others. My bag of holding emptied out on me too. The only thing I can think is porting in and out of the nether. Had done it a dozen times easy making the hallway and it was all good then coming back from Cubbs farm I went to unload and noticed it was empty. The bags are unstable. Be it a bug in that mod or some interaction/erroring between mods. I did notice that now all player data is in one file now on the server. Wondering if that is somehow related.

    If you click the link to thuts elevators from the launcher there is a discussion about stuff disappearing when making elevators & stuff...
    it appears there are a few patches after where we are... I think...
    much sad...
    randomly vanishing elevtor blocks is the devil
    I think part of the problem is that you are supposed to keep the elevtor blocks in inventory and then they get magicaly used up when you make the elevator and never come back...

    People were still talking about sometimes falling through the elevators again.

    So to make an elevator now, you make a bunch of the elevator blocks and put them in your inventory.
    You then use the linker to layout the elevator and the blocks magically get used up.
    There doesn't seem to be any refund of the blocks when you kill it so caution is advised.

    Disabled all Shoggoths from spreading ooze. Wandering around the islands tonight looking for gardens and fruit trees there were patches all over including one that stopped just short of my fields. That $#@! had to stop, lol.

    Yeah it is a bad block is my guess. The crash is client side and is rendering related.

    Okay Bears are on the never ending quest to keep the fridges stocked.
    Refined Relocation isn't an option this time as all of the relocators & other things haven;t made it to the new version yet.
    The AE replacement has an export thing but is limited to 9 item types and I'd have to cover all of the sides of the fridge to maybe get it to work.

    Open to new ideas...

    Also I made a bunch more seeds today and discovered that the Woot grinder can get chunks to make mob seeds.

    I only have a basic factory with no upgrades yet.
    It takes a bunch of power, and I'm still in the stoneage for tech.
    I enjoy that you can swap the controller blocks in and out, and don't loose the captured spawn.
    It runs a bunch of test spawns to build up the math on what drops and how often.
    Higher level mobs require the larger builds, and each "powerup" requires a bit more power...
    When I'm not insomnia strung out, I need to build another controller & capture thing to get a zombie and set the grinder to extra decapitation odds since the only heads we can make are wither skulls... and those aren't that useful for EnderIO...
    cause I want to get ender io going so I can stop hand harvesting the farms...

    expirebox links die after 2 days, many mod authors don't like there to be other distrubtion of their stuff so this is my halfway point of helping the server & not annoying mod owners.

    No worries Perv. I've been lifting materials to make stuff & Claus got me some Ardite so I got that done.
    I am 99.9% finished with the fruit farm.
    I sped the charcaol making system way up by making mystical crops furnaces.
    I moved all of the storage drawers out of sight and tried the AE2 replacement to keep the fridges stocked but thats not working.
    Not sure if the computer mod we are using can do it, but thats my next try.
    I put a custom door up, thinking we can change the materials its made out of for the next try.

    Mainly its been me building up the crop supplies. Discovered that the compacting drawers don't understand the mystical crops so can't automate them from the essences to ingots.
    I got 64+ in my personal power grid, and poking at things that use that power.

    Now that I have plants for the EnderIO pipes gonna see if the traps can be automated, if they can't I'll probably remove them cause the crops can make nearly anything the ground traps can make, and then I'll pop in the fishing ones to get those different drops.

    And just because the world is just like that as I was getting ready to sleep last night a transformer blew and plunged me into darkness, but its back now.

    Hrm, the devs of minecolonies might have pulled that version. I will check if a new one came out or what. Either way I will work around it, either by self hosting the old file or updating to a new one.

    Cubbs, on the compatcing drawers and mystical crops... since most of them are hollow 3x3 the drawers won't do it but the autocompacter or whatever it is called has an option for it (shift click to rotate 2x2, 3x3, 3x3 hollow) so I have it turnning the essences into ingots them dumping them into the drawer system and handled by a compacting drawer.

    The Illuminati keep giving me stuff. If there is something you are looking for or want a jump start with, just ask. The drops are random, so don't expect too much out of them. I might have what you are looking for.

    I've been doing some blood magic stuff for equipment repair and wither skull making. Going to start some Botania here soon!

    Some of the stuff you gave me was pretty high end so sometimes random can be nice. Lots of little stuff for the various mods too which is cool. Gives you motivation to try and use them.

    I can't login. I get disconnected.
    Got a warning for journeymap. Disabled it but still can't log in.

    Do I have to use a specific version of minecraft or do the MCUpdater just play the right one?

    You need to hit the update button, and it should say server version 10...
    watch for anything it says don't download right.
    maybe go into the config and clear the caches...

    I googled the error message you posted....
    There are several posts online about it, this one seemed to offer the common solution for some people.
    Some said it solved when they relogged in.

    Yeah, I did update and got the minecolonies files. I'm thinking it might be something with my java version, I will try installing an older version.
    I also googled a bit about the error, but could find anything that helped.

    I'm using a mac… So there might be some problems with that

    I had issues, I downloaded the minecolonies file, did all that, updated, tried to log in.

    NOPE!

    and then I had to finally shut it all down and update once more. then finally it went through.
    Not a Dev!

    Not sure if thats the problem but I get a few:

    scala-parser-combinators.jar - Hash mismatch
    Looks like most of the scala things get mismatch.

    Those are side loaded so not syncing up is odd. Could be hosting issues at Curse or Amazon(?) CDN or wherever they are coming from. Odd it has lasted this long though.
