    Default Dancing with Juggernauts

While playing Reforged mod, I wanted to do some shield training and thought that Juggernauts would be suitable sparring partners. They hit multiple times and they hit hard, so that Bishops and the Bard can develop their areas of expertise, too. Since they can be dangerous opponents, playing was not boring (Here I must recommend Kaucucovnik's Wiz8FastAnim.exe; it really makes encounters faster). I would perhaps let Vi fight, her stats aren't initially very good.

But I don't have much patience for just training. Three points in Shield skill seemed to be a maximum for me. Besides, a shield seems not to help much against the worst monsters in the mod.

On Primary Rocks I met several Unicorns which cast Body of Stone. After that all I could do was to wait for the spell to dissipate. Then I would quickly finish them, but so long the enchantment held, I could not hurt them. I haven't always understood how good spell Body of Stone is.

I love training defensive and offensive combat skills simutaneously with em juggernauts.

While the wandering forest mites may be faster for pure defensive training,
the jugs dont mind if their guardian angel wears off as they can take a lot of punishment,
and 9 of them are usually enough to compensate the occasional crit.
I think i have spent realtime days with them, some battles lasted 2-3 k turns,
the main requirement is the holograph projector and a deep crevasse,
(i recommend to pull them to the one behind the teleporter building on ATR, far way from any interferences)
for weaker parties add a stealthed character to jump into the front occasionaly.

For mods with mana regen items they are even better as +2 mp per turn
will allow the gadgie unlimited use of the projector if the stamina caster reliably comes after the gadgie.

I switch to continous mode in these battles after 1-2 turns
when i set all members default actions so i can trigger them with the [L]key,
fastanim exe would speed the turns up so much that i may press keys too late before really bad things happen.

btw, the "best"(=biggest xploit) place to train offensive combat skills is most likely in the main tunnels,
behind the collapsed roof of the hut near RFS-81,
in my actual rampage run i pumped even the caster specialists close combat skills to > 80 there
before i dared to approach Tantris.

Body of Stone works best in conjunction with Guardian Angel as it reduces the dmg before the guardian comes into play,
add a Razor Cloak if the opponents evasion or penetration AC makes it hard/impossible to hit or hurt.
