Pictish Event Walkthrough
The Pictish event has a few quests with some great, and interesting, rewards. BiowareMythic seem to be adding new steps every so foten, so keep checking with the main quest givers, and this page for updated info!
The Quests start in your realms main border keep, mainland side.
Quest Part 1: Enemies of Old
- Port to either Drum Ligen, Castel Sauvage or Svasud Faste, depending on your realm.
- Speak with the NPC located at the base of the portal platform. For Hib speak with Fionn Mac Cumhail. For Mid speak with Sinfjotli Sigmundarson and for Alb speak with Sir Ywain.
- He'll send you off to kill 25 Picts making their way to the alternative boarder keep.
- Go to the porter and port to Druim Cain for Hib, Snowdonia Fortress for Alb, or Vindsaul Faste for Mid
- These keeps are under attack, so the porter instead offers you the location of a nearby refugee town. Select the option to port there instead.
- Near each refugee town you port into is a camp of Picts. Kill 25 of these. Locations below.
Be aware that these don't always come solo and there is a named purple boss mob here, don't pull him :) Also, be careful not to pull the Picts too close to any guards as they will get involved in the fight, and you won't get any credit.

Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson when completed.
Rewards: 250 Scales. 275G, 47S and 4C (level 50)
Quest Part 2: Continuing the Fight
- Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson to continue with the events quests.
- Part 2 of this quest line requires you to again kill 25 Picts.
- Go to the porter and port back to Druim Cain for Hib, Snowdonia Fortress for Alb, or Vindsaul Faste for Mid
- Again, the porter instead offers you the location of a nearby refugee town. Select the option to port there instead.
- Kill 25 more Picts at the nearby camps. Locations the same as above.
Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson when completed.
Rewards: 250 Scales. 275G, 47S and 4C (level 50)
Quest Part 3: Leave No Stone Unturned
- Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson to continue with the events quests.
- This time, he asks you to kill the 4 Pictish boss mobs at each of the camp locations above.
- You will need a group+for this.There is usually a BG running to help people get this done and you'll hear about it in /region.
- Venture to each camp location (locations and boss names below) and pull Picts bit by bit before trying to boss mob (unless your bg has a huge lot of people doing it). A PBAoE class or 10 makes this go a lot easier and faster.

Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson when completed.
Rewards: Class Dependent Belt. 275G, 47S and 4C (level 50). And a tarnished medallion of passage!
Quest Part 4:
- Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson to continue with the events quests.
- Part 4 of this quest line requires you to kill the main boss mob in the alternate border keeps (Cain, Snowdonia or Vindsaul).
- Go to the porter and port back to Druim Cain for Hib, Snowdonia Fortress for Alb, or Vindsaul Faste for Mid
- Again, the porter instead offers you the location of a nearby refugee town. Select the option to port there instead.
- You'll need a BG for this again.
- Approach the border keep and pull Picts bit by bit, bearing in mind the keep doors need to be opened and closed manually.
- Once you've cleared out most of the Picts, kill the boss mob
When the boss dies you'll get a message that your bag is full so the medallion was dropped on the ground. This is the same medallion from Part 3 of the quests, so don't worry about it, even if you have empty bags!
Return to Fionn Mac Cumhail/Sir Ywain/Sinfjotli Sigmundarson when completed.
Rewards: Pictish Medal of Honor. 275G, 47S and 4C (level 50).
